Had my post-op today, which went well and I've officially been discharged. I'm finally free, after three years of struggle just to get my health back. I know the road ahead won't be easy, but I have the strength inside to face it now, more than ever.
Been doodling of late, poetry wise (I can't draw for shit, btw ). Nothing has come out that I've felt worthy of submitting, just things that I've written to vent things out (now, at times, I feel they're too deep to be submitted - it's real nasty shit ) but, looking back through my notebook, there's one or two things I can try and work on. As I'm typing this, I'm divided between my iPod (), obviously this, and my notebook - I'm currently writing a poem called "Trapped" (if inspiration falls short, I'll submit what I've written here)
Nothing really else is going on, apart from just drifting day to day. I hope to make a few job applications, and just try to get my foot in the door somehow. But you know, just trying to take each moment as it comes - I'm looking at life from a completely different standpoint. And no one one else knows how GOOD it is to be given a second chance.
Anyway, enough of me rambling. Hope you're all okay.
